Members

The University of ½ûÂþÌìÌÃBoard of Regents is an 11-member board, appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the ½ûÂþÌìÌÃLegislature. Members serve an 8-year term, with the exception of the student regent who is nominated from his/her campus and serves a 2-year term. The 8-year term begins on the first Monday in February; student regent term begins on June 1. Regents serve until their successor is appointed.

The Board was established through the ½ûÂþÌìÌÃConstitution and is responsible for University of ½ûÂþÌìÌÃpolicy and management through the University President.
