University of Board of Regents to hold two-day meeting Feb. 24-25
Who: University of Board of Regents
When: Thursday, Feb. 24 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 25 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
What: During this two-day meeting, regents will hear reports from the previous week’s committee meetings, chancellors, governance leadership and Interim President Pat Pitney.
The board will also discuss a motion to appoint Interim President Pat Pitney as permanent president, effectively removing “interim” from her title.
Also Thursday, the board will receive updates regarding UA compensation and the public awareness campaign survey results, hear a government relations report, and consider action items.
On Friday, regents will hear an update regarding the Native Success Initiative, the Title IX compliance and metrics brief, will hear a foundation and development report, discuss board governance, consider actions items, and hold an executive session.
Friday’s meeting also will include a Did You Know presentation on the cutting edge research and development taking place across the three universities in the field of unmanned aircraft systems.
